I did not know that everything I create is automatically mine. I could have been rich!!! (jk) The sad thing is, that law has been in effect since the 80's. Where have I been? I must have been living under a rock.
I like the idea of creative commons. It's nice to know that I won't get sued for making interesting classroom material. Now I feel like I can be more creative because I have more access to others work.
If you are in the business of making money off these ideas will this person see the same returns having their worked CC? Or will they make more money because their material is assessed more?

There are different restrictions. Some people choose that their work cannot be accessed for commercial purposes.
